Introducing the Winter 2024 All-S Retreat

Celebrating Emotional Sobriety
and Healthy Relationships!

Sunday, December 29th to Wednesday, January 1st

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming All S-Winter Retreat, a unique opportunity for you to delve into the 12-step principles as they apply to your emotional sobriety and building healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Join us from December 29 to January 1 at LaSalle Manor in Plano, IL, for an experience of personal growth and self-discovery.

What to expect:

LEISURE: You'll find La Salle Manor to be a wonderful respite from the daily grind. Located just west of Chicago in Plano, IL, La Salle provides an ideal retreat setting. The 3-story historic log cabin, nestled into the woods alongside a pond and stream, will embrace you with its ample central gathering space, cathedral ceiling, and large hearth fireplace. Enjoy the comfort of your private dorm room with its own sink. You'll also enjoy tasty, well-prepared buffet-style meals.

LAUGHTER: If you haven't experienced our creative talents night or New Year's Eve Bash, you don't know what laughter is! We can’t wait to see your talents, too.

DISCOVERY: Lead Speakers will share from the heart their own experience of applying the 12 Steps to their emotional sobriety and development of healthy relationships, furthering your recovery journey. Following their talk, we'll break into discussion groups and fellowship focused on the following:

  • Embracing Self-Love and Acceptance: Discover how to cultivate a deep sense of self-worth and compassion while doing the often hard and painful work of recovery.

  • Prioritizing Your Well-Being in Recovery: Explore how the 12-steps can help you prioritize self-care, deepen your relationship with God, and foster connections with others

  • Building and Maintaining healthy relationships: Identify healthy and unhealthy relationship patterns and behaviors through the 12 Steps and other conference approved literature. This retreat provides valuable insights and is an excellent opportunity to connect with others on a similar journey and enhance your recovery.

  • Recognizing and developing emotional sobriety: Deepen your understanding of how emotional sobriety is essential for your recovery. Recognize ways you can cultivate emotional sobriety in your life and relationships by focusing on emotional maturity, self-awareness, letting go of expectations, and embracing life on life’s terms.

What is the All-S Retreat like?

The All-S Retreat takes place on the grounds of beautiful La Salle Manor in Plano, Illinois.

The All-S Retreat welcomes members of sex and love-related 12-step fellowships and supportive partners, but is not associated with any particular fellowship.
